The New Exercises And Fitness Trends

Out with the old, in with the new, that's a common cliché we always talk about. And that's what always happens in the world of fitness. It never wanes and fades away in time. Every year, every time, every moment, a new trend comes out. There's always something new to follow on. Some of them may not work for you but for others it's an answered prayer.

Now, since because it's the first quarter of the year, we're going to give you the latest trends when it comes to fitness and exercise. These are new stuff only a few people know and realize but it's worth knowing. You will realize that it's not the quickest way to lose weight that you are looking for. These are the right methods and these don't consist of any shortcuts to become fully fit.

First in the list would be "the basics". These new times, we stop on becoming crazy with machines and fancy gadgets. It's not the trend anymore. Ken Locker, MA, ATC a spokesperson for the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) says, "The high-tech stuff was great and everybody loves gadgets, but what ends up happening is it becomes a great place to hang your clothes, Everybody in America now has a little treadmill in the corner with clothes on it -- and now, there is a trend away from that, a trend back to basics."

By the word basics, we mean that we go back to the oldest exercise equipment, our body itself. Yes, using our body to become fit is a new trend. Just remember the old calisthenics like push-ups, sit-ups and jumping jacks. These activities are going back on track. It's all about the basics. Plus you are not going to play a major league game so there's no need for pounding yourself with killer workouts.

Second would be the mind-body fitness. These exercises which consist of two different factors being coordinated now rises as a trend in the world of health and fitness. An example of this is Cy-Yo. It's a one hour workout which involves 10 minutes of yoga, 40 minutes of speed cycling on a stationary bike and 10 minutes of yoga again for cooling down.

Another example is YogaFit which involves a combination of yoga exercises plus other activities like strength training, core muscle building and more. And last would be the Buddy System. Working out alone just isn't good and won't lead you somewhere especially during the times you feel down. However, you can't afford having a personal trainer. So what will you do? That's where buddy system comes in. It could be anybody, even your pet. This partnership can and will lead you to success. It was shown in a 12 month study at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.

These are the latest methods and trends in fitness. Just check out some of them and you maybe you will become nearer to the success you have been looking for. Again, it's not for quickest way to lose weight but it's the real, effective and time consuming methods. Get the complete details from
